Lately we’ve been really busy looking for a hotel who would like to provide us with accommodation for the conference and after weeks searching and dialoguing with some in the area we finally got one!

The Hotel Seminario Bilbao will be our main provider of accommodation and also one of our Goodwill Ambassadors. It is a large hotel really close to the airport and the school so early mornings won’t be too early :)
What is nice about the hotel as well is that there is actually a hostel in the same exact building so anyone wishing to keep down a little bit their cost could chose this option.
Furthermore, the Black Tie Dinner on the Saturday night will be hosted in the hotel too! Plus the disco!

We are sure it will be great to be hosted in there. Don’t forget to check out their website: www.hotelseminariobilbao.com

Registration for MUN Bilbao 2017 opens on 30th May and we have started to receive enquiries from various schools who are interested in attending. These enquiries include schools from Norway, Italy, Tunisea and Qatar. Apart from this, whilst attending a MUN conference in Prague recently, schools from Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Italy and Turkey all expressed interest in our conference.

We are very excited about the prospect of such a diverse range of countries attending MUN Bilbao and we hope more will join us. So, mark the date and get in touch as registration is on a first come, first served basis!

Hii!! My name is Alejandra García and I am going to be the Secretary General in the next MUN Bilbao conference on January. I'm 17 years old, I live here in Bilbao and I've been doing MUN for a bit more than a year. In that time I cannot tell you all how much I've learned and how much fun I've had! So far, I've attended four conferences, although I am currently in my hotel room in The Hague because there's a MUN conference here this weekend and I will also be attending Royal Russell IMUN again in October.

The first MUN Bilbao conference was a blast and I don't expect that to change next year.  In fact, I hope we can improve even more and make next year's conference even greater! I'm expecting the same type of people as those who attended our last conference: eager to solve current world problems that affect mankind everyday and hope to make a better place to live in for future generations.

With that said, I guess I'll see you guys in Bilbao next year! YOU CANNOT MISS IT!!

Welcome everybody to the MUN Bilbao blog! In this blog you will find out about the conference and how it is developing. We’d like to make the conference closer to you all as you’re the greatest part of it!

We are celebrating this conference with a very clear aim: changing the world to the better. And we firmly believe the future of the world is in our hands. We have the chance and the right to leave our bigger footprint in the world, a footprint that will lead the way to the future, to the best of the human race.

We’ve taken as the main motto “The goals of the millennium” and we believe we can help accomplish these goals by a sustainable development.

We can’t wait to welcome all of you in January and start with the change!

Hope you like the blog and see you in Jan.
